I’m planing a trip for Tokyo-Kamikochi-Kawaguchigo-Tokyo.
The first leg I’ll use Kamikochi Yu Yu Tickets. But not sure how to travel from Kamikochi to Kawaguchigo. It looks like I have to go to Matsumoto first and take Azusa+train or bus. If that’s the case maybe should I get JR East Pass? I can use it from Shinjuku to Matsumoto too and drop the Kamikochi Yu Yu. Or is there a better way from Kamikochi to Kawaguchigo without stopping at Matsumoto?
What site do you use to calculate the train price now? The latest I used wa Hyperdia…
