Hello! I was wondering.. if a student came to study at one of the top Japanese universities for an engineering degree (in English).. if they learned Japanese, and is able to communicate effectively, throughout those 4 years, how hard would it be to get a job in Japan?

It would only be more difficult than if you did it in your home country because of cultural/hiring practice differences, but still totally doable I’d say. It’s actually the avenue that I took after I finished grad school here.
There’s a lot of hypotheticals in that situation, particularly getting your Japanese ability up to a business level though. Never plan your life around things that *might* happen.
