Hi all, I’ve been asking about the Tateyama Alpine Route on a different Japan travel forum. I planned to go in the first week of November. The commenters were asking me to drop it, saying it won’t be worth seeing in early Nov since now is peak time for fall foliage. However, on several fall foliage forecasts it says that there would still be fall foliage in early November in some areas. I would probably not visit Chubu region again and would be bummed to miss it. Would it not be worth seeing at all? Note that I plan to complete the route within a day, I’ve read that it’s doable to do in 7-9 hours.
Thank you!
