just days after the leader told everyone it was time to stop wearing masks, and opened the airplanes.
as long as they make hospitals accept patients, it should be ok.
Wait-Japan reopens the borders, relaxes precautions even though Covid is still active and highly contagious and cases begin to rise?
Of course.
I got covid for the first time in my life last week. Had a fever for 6 days with a bad cough, but that’s it. I felt fine enough to cook for myself and all that.
They should just encourage people to get boosters and stay home if they are sick, but there is no need to panic about the borders any more.
Close the border again, yen to the moon!!
Who cares..
Closing the borders do nothing. Everyone asked for that in Hawaii but it was all community transmission, yet they still scapegoated tourists (I’m a local here).
I get the annoying tourist but (truuuuust me) but how often are you all going to the touristy places? I don’t dare go to Waikiki and I avoid the typical tourist traps when I go to Japan (I lived there 7 years and travel there regularly each year).
I didn’t catch covid for almost 3 years of this pandemic and then my kids caught it soccer, coughed in my face and then I got sick. Then I got it a second time from my husband…. it’s just a part of our lives now.
Literally only three countries still making a big deal about Covid these days
