Does it make sense to add the alpine route into my itinerary from Nagano to Kanazawa in late November? Can this be covered in a day?

Appreciate your help in advance. Did all my research, but there seems to be lack of information on this topic in particular. Would help if you can share any useful information that can make the journey easier. Looking to cover the distance in a day. Any info on chances of route closure will also help.
