First draft of my itinerary for March

I’m planning to spend a month in Japan, and this is my itinerary so far. I’ll need to do more checks as I refine it, particularly about the race tracks, as I couldn’t find an even calendar for 2023 yet. I still need to do more research regarding transportation, to see where I could use trains and busses, and where I’d have to rent a car. I’m open to making some changes to it, so I could use some feedback. Am I trying to do too much? Or is it too little and I can do while I’m in Japan?
Day 20 to day 24- I thought it will be busy enough, but it turned out I have a few spare days. Thought I could use that time to go from Osaka to Okayama, and Takamatsu , before arriving to Kochi. Would that be a good idea? Or is there another place I should visit instead (Is sumoto a good option)?
Is it better to get a SIM card at the airport, or should I wait until I arrive to the city?
