I have 2 diplomas and want to know if they count as degree. 1 is a 1 year course in 3d media from a college in Vancouver. The other is a 3 year course in animation from a institution(school) in Madrid.
Google definition just shows as a certificated given by a university/college/institution for studying 2 or more years. But other sites say it needs to be from a universities and 4years

It needs to be a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent – name can vary based on country) from an accredited Uni. The 1 year course would for sure not be a bachelors.
The 3 years in Madrid could be as not all degrees are 4 years, many are 3. Unless the qualification you got from the school states that it is a Bachelors Degree (BSc, BA etc) than it wouldnt count. Your qualification you received from the school should tell you what it is.
