I was doing some JLPT N3 grammar practice questions and this came up
「父親にこんな口のきき方を \_\_\_\_\_\_\_ よ。不敬というものだ。」
Out of the four answers, there was すべきではない and するべきではない. Only すべき was correct, but I thought they were interchangeable? Could someone explain the difference in usage between the two?
