Sashimi identification

1. Got this gorgeous sashimi platter but the chef went through everything so quickly I can’t remember what this one, it was hands down my favorite though

4. I second that I believe that’s albacore tuna. Is it soft and easy to chew through?

7. I think it’s yellowtail, and the albacore is the more pinkish one behind it all the way in the back.

9. After thorough analysis, I was able to confirm that it is in fact sashimi

10. Looks to be hamachi (yellowtail) to me. Those are some sizable chunks of fish!! The o-toro in the back looks outstanding.

11. I also think it’s albacore. Looks amazing, where was this at?

12. I’d say tuna, although traditionally it should be plated higher up on the platter.

13. Thank you everyone! Got sushi for lunch today and ordered albacore and that’s definitely what it was, super excited to have a new fave thing to order
