My Japanese wife, daughter & I are emigrating, long term, from Australia to Japan to care for 90 old Oji-san.
I wish to ship a Riese & Muller – Nevo 3 – ebike , with CX Bosh motor ,to Japan but can not find a company to ship the 625kwh , 4kg , Bosch battery.
The bike & battery is only 2 months old as I specifically bought it for life in Tokyo as I to big & heavy for any Japanese ebike.
Has anyone hints on how to import an ebike battery to Japan ? \[ I have tried Cubit +DHL + Fedex + Aust Post + Pack & send ,etc .

Shipping a Li-Ion battery pack of that size is pretty much going to be a non-starter.
The usual answer for a large battery is “put it in your carry-on”, but most airlines restrict anything above 160kw/h, so… You may in fact be totally out of luck.

Did you check and make sure that bike is actually compliant with Japanese laws? Many (Most?) ebikes sold abroad are *not* compliant.
For example, the Bosch motor on the Nevo is rated up to 25 km/h. Japanese law requires ebikes to be limited to ***24*** km/h. That 1 km/h is the difference between a legal ebike and being required to register it as a small motorcycle (which requires a number of modifications to the bike)
See [this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/sopwcu/confused_about_japan_ebikes_laws/) on r/japanlife for some details/discussion.
You’ll have to buy the battery domestically.
So you’re not going to be able to use any traditional courier services to ship your battery. It’s classified as dangerous goods, and so you’re going to need to contact shippers who specifically handle dangerous goods.
A cursory googling has found these guys for example: https://www.couriersandfreight.com.au/help/shipping-dangerous-goods
