My trip is coming up and I am just trying to finalize some of our selections, and/or solicit any last minute feedback or advice. Thanks in advance to all!
* Day 1 – Saturday: Arrive at Narita in the evening, take N’EX to Shinjuku and basically crash at the hotel right away.
* Day 2 – Sunday: Japanese Sword Museum, walk around Akhibara (check out Chuo Dori, Super Potato, Anime Center), walk around Yanaka (Nezu Shrine), Walk around Harajuku (Kiddy Land, Monster Cafe). I think this will be the most packed day, and may need to split some of this off?
* Day 3 – Monday: Day trip to Yokohama. Cup Noodle Museum, Gundam Factory, Thrash Zone Beer Bar. Might even have room to check out some other things here if people have suggestions!
* Day 4 – Tuesday: Very unlikely, but going to try and hit up the Pokemon Cafe in the morning (it’s currently booked solid through November, doubt it will change, but you never know). Hoping to catch the 11:00 AM matinee for a single act Kabuki show. teamLab in the afternoon, followed by Diver City mall and Gundam Base.
* Day 5 – Wednesday: Tokyo Disneyland
* Day 6 – Thursday: Tokyo DisneySea
* Day 7- Friday: This is currently sort of a flex day. I’d like to go somewhere near-ish by that we can SEE Mt Fuji, but don’t necessarily want to try and go up it. Will also try and scope out Meiji Shrine and/or the 47 Ronin Shrine.
* Day 8 – Saturday: Sort of another flex day, dependent on the unlikely chance we can score tickets to the Ghibli Museum. Otherwise we intend to check out the Parasite Museum in the morning and have a ghost tour in the evening.
* Day 9 – Sunday: Overflow day. Anything we missed but wanted to do really bad, we will try to do here. Anything egregious I am missing that you guys think I should do could possibly go here as well! Either way, I am thinking we will celebrate our final night with a nice dinner at a themed restaurant, like Ninja Akasaka.
On a quick side note, we really want to try the Japanese cheesecakes and pancakes you see on instagram all the time, as well as spend a bit of time at an onsen. If anyone knows some good places that do that along our current path, I’d be happy to take any suggestions on those as well!

Day 1 – I would suggest to try to avoid going to sleep before the time you usually do back home. If you go to bed as soon as you arrive, you might wake up too early next day and make getting use to jet lag more difficult.
Day 2 – You already have more than enough without Harajuku. Also Kawaii Monster Cafe closed. So just go with the flow, do not rush things to do Harajuku at all cost, anyway you seems to have some flex time at the end.
Day 7- If you want have a view on Mount Fuji, then dedicate a day trip to Kawaguchiko or Hakone, but you won’t have much time for anything else.
Onsen, there is not much options in Tokyo, but this can be done much more easily with a day trip to Hakone or Kawaguchiko.
For pancake an cheesecake, just Google “fluffy pancake Tokyo” in Google and you will get several pages listing options like Happy Pancake.
We were able to see Mt Fuji from Enoshima station when we went to Enoshima Island for a half day trip. There would be no guarantee it would be visible though. I know someone who went to Hakone to see it and the top was clouded over even though the forecast was for fine weather.
