Check out @nipponviajero on IG. Really nice person, and she does authentic pop-ups and workshops around Tokyo
Mexican food is Japan’s biggest culinary blind spot. Though I’ve been going to Kitade Tacos Commissary near Kanda when I want acceptable tacos.
I recently made tinga de pollo and alambre for my friends, it’s honestly the best Mexican food I’ve had in Japan 😡 Honestly? Just try and cook yourself, Kyodai Market sells tortillas, many kinds of peppers, nopales de lata, tomate verde… en lata, etc.
Fukumen in Asakusa.
Los Tacos Azules in Sangenjaya. Expensive.
Junkadelic in Nakameguro.
La Jolla in Azabujuban
The Taco place at Oslo Brewery in Shibuya
Chiles in Harajuku (Run by Mexicans, but could be better)
