[Itinerary check] 10 days in Japan for group of 12 people (1st time in Japan)

Greeting awesome people!!

This is the 2nd draft of our itinerary. After more hours of watching videos and studying maps, advice from this subreddit, we have put together a more solid plan! We are planning to visit Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto from 19/4 until 28/4. “We” as in group of 12 ppl, age 30ish, mix of couple and single, no children.

**19/4 – Wednesday (Tokyo / Osaka):**

* 8 am – 12pm: Arriving Narita, JR Pass, SIM card
* 12 pm – 4pm: Shinkansen and check in Osaka hotel
* 4 pm – midnight: Dotonbori / Shinsaibashi-suji / Hozenji Yokocho Alley

**20/4 – Thursday (Osaka):**

* 8 am: Send our luggage to Kyoto using luggage forwarding services via hotel
* 8 am – 7 pm: Universal Studio Japan
* 7 pm – midnight: Shinsekai

**21/4 – Friday (Osaka / Kyoto)**

* 9 am – 10 am: Check out with luggage at hotel
* 10 am – 2 pm: Tenjinbashi-suji
* 2 pm – 4 pm: Get luggage at hotel, shinkansen and check in bag / Kyoto hotel
* 2 pm – 6 pm: Nishiki Market
* 6 pm – midnight: Pontocho Alley / Kiyamachi

**22/4 – Saturday (Kyoto)**

* 9 am – 11 am: Keage Incline for sakura
* 11 am – 3 pm: Kiyomizudera
* 3 pm – 7 pm: Rent kimono / photographer at Gion and Southern Higashiyama

**23/4 – Sunday (Kyoto)**

* 5 am – 9 am: Arashiyama Bamboo Forest / Tenryu-ji
* 9 am – 12 pm: Rest because too early at Bamboo Forest
* 9 am: Should I forward my luggage to Tokyo hotel?
* 12pm – 5 pm: Fushimi-Inari Taisha Shrine

**24/4 – Monday (Kyoto, Tokyo: Shinjuku and Asakusa)**

* 9 am – 1 pm: check out and Shinkansen to Tokyo
* 1 pm – 4 pm: Asakusa area and Sensō-ji Temple
* 4 pm – 6 pm: check in Tokyo hotel
* 6 pm – midnight: Omoide Yokochō / Kabukichō / Shinjuku Golden Gai

**25/4 Tuesday (Tokyo: Odaiba and Akihabara)**

* 8 am – 11 am: teamLab Planets Tokyo
* 11 am – 12 pm: Gundam statue
* 12 pm – 4 pm: Tokyo Joypolis **OR** cut to Akihabara
* 4 pm – midnight: Gachapon Kaikan, Akihabara Radio Kaikan, Akihabara Gamers, Mandarake, SEGA

**26/4 Wednesday (Tokyo: Shibuya)**

* 8 am – 11 am: Harajuku (Fashion Street / Takeshita Street / Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku Mirror)
* 11 am – 6 pm: Shibuya Scramble Square / Shibuya Parco
* 6 pm – midnight: Shibuya Crossing / MEGA Don Quijote / Shibuya SKY/ Shibuya yokocho / TAITO Station Shibuya / Tokyu hands Shibuya

**27/4 Thursday (Tokyo: Free and Easy)**

* 8 am – 11 am: Breakfast at Starbucks Reserve Roastery
* Optional: Meguro Sky Garden. If lucky clear sky, can see Mount Fuji
* 11 am – midnight: Revisit places from few days ago (free and easy)

**28/4 Friday (Tokyo)**

* Flight outbound time at 11 am. Will be taking NEX to Narita Airport.

Note: We will be also getting JR pass for 1 week, which will valid from 19/4 till 26/4 covering Narita to Tokyo, Tokyo to Osaka, Osaka to Kyoto and last Kyoto to Tokyo. We will be purchasing 1-way NEX to Narita Airport for flying out since JR pass is expired.

Would appreciate any feedback / comment such as purchasing early ticket or watch out for certain rush hour.
