Hi, I currently live in countryside of Nagano prefecture. I just moved into old house from Chiba. My house barely catches Rakuten and au networks. Softbank and docomo network is only available. I need to have high speed wifi because I started working online. Do you have any recommendations? I do not want to have contracts with big companies such as softbank, docomo and au because they are expensive and also just to end the contracts, they require to pay about 30,000 yen just to return their wifi device. I think it is just silly.
Also, currently, I am thinking of ending the contract with Ymobile because I feel there are better solutions out there these days. I pay about 4000 yen for 15GB and 5 min free call. Do you also have any recommendations for sim card? Is there any better ones? Which sim do you all use and what is your thoughts on that?

Agree, can not get Rakuten @ Tateyama, Chiba. Would also like to know if Pocket wifi with a bigger aerial would help.
