  1. I used to teach at one and I know the big ones will have no problems like Ritsumeikan and Waseda, but the ones that facilitate dumb kids will.

  2. I worked for a small private university previously. The university had a lot of problems, but they were really good at advertising. They also set themselves up with a degree that primarily focuses on English and has multiple EMI courses.

    Two other universities in the area did it with lesser results due to the marketing budget.

    School was still growing when I left it. Terrible place to work though. Faculty don’t stay long unless they are tenured as there is not a lot of need for research. These types of universities don’t really care about the faculty, they see them as equivalent no matter the work. As long as you don’t get in the way. It’s all politics and money making.
