Hey everyone. So I’ve been living in Kyoto for a couple months. I’m taking a biking tour to Tokyo and will be spending some time there afterwards. I’m trying to bike as light as possible, and as such i want to ship my luggage to Tokyo. Unfortunately, biking will take about a week and as such my options are limited. I need to find an option that will let me drop off my stuff one day in Kyoto then pick them up ship them to me a week later in Tokyo. I don’t mind paying holding fees or anything it’s just I’m staying in an Airbnb so it’s not exactly like they could receive and hold my luggage? Any advice would be great.
Worst case scenario I’ll get my girlfriend to ship it later for me but I’d prefer to avoid that as I don’t want to burden her and her parents don’t exactly know about me yet.

You can set delivery time up to 1 week in advance with kuroneko, might be similar limit with sagawa. This is when using their app/online printing service, so you might be able to ask your driver to give you an extra day if your trip is just over a week or something. So you would ship on day X, set delivery date to X + 7, leave for Tokyo, and the bag will sit at your local (to tokyo) kuroneko depo for a few days until the fixed delivery date.
I’m not aware of any “drop off then ship on day X” service tho.
