It finally feels like winter instead of a very mild fall/autumn. But why the rain to go with the cold?
Glad I didn’t stay up to late to watch that hot mess of a game between Japan and Croatia. A miniscule part of me had hope they would make it to the quarterfinals for the first time but….nope.
Is there an urban dictionary equivalent for Japanese? Or somewhere I can look up Japanese slang easily rather than just googling?
Those of you who had your Japanese MIL stay with you a month post birth, how was the experience (Men or women)? Any anecdotes, advice in how to handle disagreements about baby raising, etc.? I’m going to ask my MIL to stay a week before birth, and the the month post birth with us to help (she offered to help us I just haven’t accepted yet/finalized plans). I know I really would appreciate the help because husband will still be working most of the day (hopefully coming a couple hours earlier), we live in a house, MIL will have her own room to stay in. I’m just worried about living with her for a month because she’s only ever stayed a day or two at ours and I feel exhausted having to be “on” to entertain her in those situations.
First time ordering something online from mercari and i was wondering how i’ll receive the product (a small figurine). Do they just leave it at the mailbox or do they ring our doorbell? Just asking this since I already received the thing where I confirm if I’ve received the product and our mailbox is at the first floor while we live in the seventh floor
First snowfall in Miyagi. F.
The screen on my gas control panel broke —- setting temperature blind now. Anyone happen to know what the ¥damage is likely going to be to get it repaired/replaced?
