  1. It is 「刻みわさび」— translating to minced wasabi. As others have mentioned, it’s minced then pickled. In America, I believe it’s just called “Kizami.”

  2. I looked up their name on IG and on their post a person asked them if that is “real wasabi” and they answered yes. So it definitely looks like kizami wasabi.

  4. Kizami wasabi. They use the stem of the wasabi plant to make along with other ingredients. I wish it was more organic with no msg. It’s still pretty tasty with that said. You can find kizami wasabi in freezer section at some Asian grocery stores.

  5. Kizami wasabi. Also called Kuki Wasabi. They are the stems of Wasabi leaves. Kuki means stems 🙂

  6. So I’ve lived in Japan for a couple years and I’ve never seen or heard this before… and now I’m ordering if this is commonly used in Japan or just outside of Japan?
