I found a book club that this company supplies to schools.
Its similar to the scholastic book club, but its nice because parents can pay in Japanese yen and its completely bilingual. The parents at our school loved it.
Here is their site.

The books are pretty reasonably priced and your school gets 20% of the total order to spend for themselves. Our parents spent about 200,000, so we got about 40,000. I think we were surprised how many books they got.
You let them know dates that you want to participate in the program (like 2 weeks or something) and then they send your school a ton of catalogues and then parents order online during the dates with a school code printed on the catalogues. They then ship them in individual bags for each student. This was also great, when we did it with scholastic, they just send a huge box and it was really annoying.
It was pretty great service. Just reach out to them if you’re interested. They have Japanese or English support.
We found it because parents kept asking for ways to get books not using Amazon.
They are growing the program which I why I decided to support. Small business in Japan.
Hope this helps someone
