The past month I’ve been trying (and failing ) to battle the condensation on my windows. I clear it every day with one of the Daiso squeegees and wipe it down but every morning I wake up and it has dropped down my windows leaving them soaked. I have my bed against the window because its the only place to put it in my 1 room tiny apartment and the side of my duvet is starting to get damp. I’ve tried the dehumidifier, bubble wrap etc but nothing is working. I can’t afford to leave the dehumidifier/heating running 24/7 so I’m wondering if anyone has any tips to help combat the condensation. (I also have 4 dehumidifier boxes on the window ledge and they have done nothing). Any tips would be gratefully appreciated.

Only option is to have the window slightly open if it is really bad. If its a bedroom while sleeping opening the window just a smidge is not a big deal, it can be half a centimetre and will make a huge difference
Open the window when you wake up in the morning. Close the window when you get home in the evening.
Yeah, Japanese apartments are not meant to be sealed off from the outside world like biodomes. You need to air out the place frequently in the summer and winter.
Do you have a small ventilator unit in the wall? Many apartments do, it would help to have it on
If you have this much condensation, I recommend checking your stuff thoroughly for mold, especially if you have any leather goods.
