1. Puro twitter western fans livid that Bishamon won and complaining no one wants to see them vs FTR. We all know y’all will still watch it anyway. AO will get their time, as they eventually will.

2. These are the kind of wrestling stats I love.

3. What is the story with Goto and Anderson? Wouldn’t Anderson have been with CHAOS at this time? Why was this a team?

4. You know what would be really great? I know Nakamura is supposed to be in Japan sometime to take on Great Muta, how awesome would it be for at the end of WK he reunites with CHAOS to tribute Inoki?

6. End of the day, i’m still subscribed to World, and will still stay up until the morning to watch Wrestle Kingdom. Would I have liked a bit of a switch up in regards to the G1/WTL? sure, but I guess ultimately Japanese fans come first

7. I wasn’t into YOSHI-HASHI but I really like Goto so its gonna be pretty cool seeing them against FTR

8. Is this a bad time to say i’m glad Goto & Hashi won surprised thought since i fully expected Aussie Open to win but Goto & Hashi Vs FTR should be super ?

10. Aussie Open’s time will come. In fact, I’d consider them the heavy favorites to win the titles from Bishamon at some point in 2023. But this was the right result right now, IMO.

11. I’m honestly a bit disappointed. Yeah it’s a great story but I think it would have been a better story and journey if aussie open won. They were supposed to compete a couple of years ago but couldn’t. Just imagine the story of participating in their first ever world tag league, win it and go on to dethrone one of the best tag teams in the world at wrestle kingdom and win their first iwgp world tag team championships.
