Not me but some colleagues at my previous company had. Why do you ask?
Ask your employer and see.
I never heard anything like that since that is a personal matter, not really company related and a lawyer isn’t required for PR either.
Mine doesn’t. Not sure it really is any of their business to be honest.
Also I love it…. 3 comments are passive aggressive 😛 Gotta wait a bit on that edit there eh?
I haven’t heard of any companies bearing the cost for a PR application. I know that big companies hire agencies to cover the renewal process for their employees and some times those agencies can offer a small discount if you choose them for your PR application. But that has nothing to do with the company.
At my company, they only get involved with working SoRs. Everything else, including PR, is considered a personal matter.
American employer. They offered visa support, but not PR support, so I just did it myself.
A lawyer isn’t required for PR application. That being the case, I don’t see why a company would or should cover the cost.
Work covering the cost of an actual work visa is a different matter as it’s required.

I’ve heard Indeed does. My company doesn’t.
