2.5-day itinerary in Kyoto

Hi,

I’m planning a trip to Japan in February and I’ll be spending 2.5 days in Kyoto. I wrote some sort of (rough) draft:

**Day 1 :**

\-Arriving in Kyoto and check-in at the hotel

\-Explore the surroundings (Tokyo Tower, To-ji Pagoda…)

**Day 2 :**

\-Fushimi Inari Taisha

\-Kiyomizu-dera

\-Yasaka-jinja

\-Nanzen-ji

\-Heian Jingu

\-Gion

\-Philosopher’s Path

\-Ginkaku-ji

**Day 3 :**

\-Tenryu-ji Temple

\-Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

\-Arashiyama Monkey Park

\-Kinkaku-ji

Yeah, Day 2 seems really packed, and I want to avoid too heavy days as I am going there with people that can’t walk from 7AM to 9PM. Though, we really want to see Fushimi Inari Taishi, Kiyomizu-dera, Gion and the Philosopher’s Path. The rest isn’t really mandatory to us, even if we’d of course like to visit those places.

Please tell me about any recommendations or changes that could improve this rough itinerary, it would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Thank you in advance!
