Hey there,
I’ll be travelling to Australia (my home country) next month and I can’t seem to find the information I’m looking for.
Previously when heading to Australia I would simply get a re-entry permit at the airport on my way there, but I saw online a while ago that we had to go to immigration to get it due to the corona restrictions.
Has anyone been lately? What did you have to do?
Thanks.

Nothing has changed. You get the special re-entry valid for 1 year at the airport.
Went to Australia (also my home country) earlier this year and got the re-entry thing at the airport. Literally, no issues and super easy.
Have flown to Germany and Singapore in the last month – no change in process with regard to RE-entry cards
1 year reentry at the airport.
5 year reentry at immigration office.
