currently in tokyo and went to tsukiji market where i got these gorgeous donburi (+ lots of other yummy bites)

1. i’ve been very luck to live in places with AMAZING sushi so this was pretty comparable to sushi i’ve had in the past, but the other dishes i got at tsukiji were mindblowing!

2. What’s that mince meat looking stuff on top of the bottom bowl?

3. Toyosu fish market restaurants are a real treat. Sad I don’t go more often as I live (edit spelling) about 5 mins by car.

   Last time I went there, it was around this time of year and went to the place below. Got the 15 pc 5,200 yen menu and they served a fish called kue (long tooth grouper in English) and was really good. Give this a try next time you are there.
