It is quite incredible how this year 2022 will have reignited the global arms race.
The threat posed by Putin’s Russia to Ukraine and Europe, as well as China’s threat to Taiwan and in the South China Sea, has caused many countries to pivot completely in their defense doctrine.
Sweden and Finland will break with their neutrality by joining NATO, while Japan will normalize its military doctrine, which has been traditionally pacifist since the end of the Second World War.
The Putin – Xi Jinping alliance of boundless friends is transforming the world in the wrong direction. Something perilous for democracies all over the world that have to organize themselves to preserve peace.

I commend Japan for this. You cant count on American support when our own country is positioning to tear itself apart and our military is woke. On top of that, if Russia falls, expect Japan to at a minimum retake the kirill islands. much needed energy and natural resources. Japan is Quiet but it is a superpower and if America doesent fall, Japan still needs to be a major regional ally. I just think they need to send a bunch more “volunteers” to Ukraine so that at least a few of them have any experience whatsoever in actual modern combat.
