5. Same, this is when I started seeing GIFs of him posted online and along with AJ Styles being in Bullet Club at the time reintroduced me to NJPW for the first time since I watched the crossovers with WCW as a kid.

8. Fantastic look. Worked beautifully as a stark contrast to the blonde hair and brightly colored trunks of Golden Lovers-era Kenny.

9. I’m more a fan of the era after that. Once he switched to long tights, became a heavyweight, the goofy halloween matches in koruken hall, had bangers all around, up to his run as the US Champion and the series with Okada.
