Winter date ideas (Tokyo)?

Wondering what people are doing for winter dates lately.

Recent dates I’ve been doing always end up just going to restaurants or cafes — which is nice too and I’d love recommendations for that as well — but it’d be nice to do some other activities with the date so we can experience other things with each other.

Open to recent recommendations for anything cozy and fun yall have done including malls, museums, unique stores, teahouses, etc.

Preferably stuff outside of home and love hotel stuff.

Thanks!

  1. TeamLab Borderless and/ or Planets are super fun. I also recommend the Konica Minolta planetarium in Sunshine City… relaxing and romantic!

  2. Billiards, bowling, table tennis cafe, roller skating, towers/buildings panorama views, illuminations, luxury hotels lobbies … are other ideas.

  3. If you or your date are okay with heights, you can go to Tokyo Skytree or Tokyo Tower. The Sky Circus (top of Sunshine 60 building) has a bit more of an amusement park kind of feel and is also very fun and not as crowded as Skytree (I personally enjoyed this a lot more than I did Skytree or Tokyo Tower because there is a bit more to do than just look out windows).

Both Skytree and Sunshine city have aquariums and planetariums on the same grounds/inside the same building.

Last I visited Skytree, we did the aquarium, planetarium, and observatory all in one day.

Edit: It seeks Sky Circus is closed for renovation until Spring 2023…
