21 day Japan itinerary advice

# 21-day Itinerary: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka – (3/16 – 4/6)

Hey everyone, we are planning a vacation in Japan, a first-time visit for the both of us. The overall plan is to first stay in Tokyo for a week, and then visit some other cities and go on trips from there. We are right now mainly looking for advice on the (geographical) structure of our vacation: does our planning make sense? What would you change, where would you stay? Also very much open to recommendations on stuff to do, we want to have some options without rigidly planning out every day.

  1. only advice I have is to already be back in Tokyo the day before your flight. you don’t want to be stuck far from Tokyo and miss your flight

also I’d pick ueno over asakusa or ginza
