I plan to go skiing in hokkaido this holiday but I can’t find store, even online who sell my size. I can fit uniqlo xl but with all the inner heattech layer, it barely fit. I’m looking for an xxl or xl my budget is under 30.000 yen but I’m willing to pay even for below 40.000. I live in matsuyama, ehime

Most of the larger Xebio stores should have larger sizes. However, most ski resorts in Hokkaido, especially the larger ones, will carry larger sizes in their rental sections. They will rent everything including boots, jackets, and gloves and hats.
Have you tried non fashion-focused stores? Like the general Aeon mall, Workman, or the plus-sized stores in your area? To be honest, Uniqlo jackets fit rather small–I’m thin, but tall, and wear a large Uniqlo jacket and sometimes an XL if it’s cut slim. Aeon, Workman sizes are huge on me.
There’s also just second-hand stores, larger jackets don’t sell fast. And if you have a Costco in your area, that’s a guarantee they’d have larger sizes.
I highly recommend Workman!
It’s so affordable and they have big sizes too.
I usually checkout their website and do in-store pickup because their in-store availability can vary.
The Field Core jacket I bought 2years ago is so warm.
Ochanomizu area of Tokyo if it’s nearby. Lots of options there.
