Hi everyone, I’ve pretty much just arrived with my fiancé (Japanese citizen) and am looking to get my already notarized single status affidavit (US) translated. What services would you recommend? I’m slightly overwhelmed by the choices available. Price isn’t too much of a concern and it would be great if I could get it done fairly quickly and with no hiccups.

Edit: additionally, *if* my birth certificate is required, would that have to be translated as well?

You (or your fiance) can translate it yourself if you want!
Did this is in October.
Any documents you are handing in that’s in English needs to be translated. Including birth certificate.
Did it myself on iPad using an app called Notability.
Scan the document, whiteout all the English and type in or hand write Japanese.
