Genki is good overall, but like all textbooks it includes way too little material for listening comprehension. It’s like 1-2 hrs of audio per book, which is less than what some people do in one single day. If you aren’t doing so yet you should supplement heavily with podcasts or similar. I wish I had done a lot more of that a lot sooner.
