I was inspired by u/kailenedanae [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/JapaneseFood/comments/zzubfa/i_ate_some_traditional_new_years_eve_soba_for/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) to make toshikoshi soba for nye dinner. Kamaboko is hard to find where I live so I subbed in a whole plate of gyoza and several more tempura shrimp (not pictured) lol

Oh, it looks yummy! And I approve of the gyoza in place of kamaboko, haha! It’s good as a topping, but you have to buy the whole loaf(?) if it, and this time of year the pricing is through the roof!
