In the game Overwatch, the character Genji says the voice line “竜神の剣をくれ！”
As a new learner, I would interpret this sentence as him demanding that the “Dragon’s blade” be given to him. (litterally or metaphorically)
But upon further research, this apparently translates to “Taste the Dragon’s blade!”
I was just wondering how peoplle generally came to this conclusion.

I think the line is 龍神の剣を喰らえ, so the verb there is 喰らう- to eat
I never played the game but he’s probably saying くらえ instead of くれ. くらえ basically means “eat it”
