Our vacuum cleaner (iris ohyama) died after less than a year with frequent disassembly/cleaning and detangling/reassembly. Do you have any recommendations of a brand/model that can handle long hair without the brush getting stuck all the time and good suction for daily wooden floor and rug cleaning? Cordless preferred.
Thank you in advance!

I have one made by Makita and I was never let down by it.
I personally like Electrolux, along the lines of [this](https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B089VV9LDV). Quite convenient to use.
I went from Dyson to Panasonic for the hair handling. It’s been working well the last 2 years. Doesn’t tangle and easy to clean out the hair from the unit.
Find one with a filter separate. That way hair and dust do not get into the filter.
Wait if dead in less than one year aren’t you still in warranty?
Although you probably feel that it isn’t good enough now. Still.
We have two Roombas, a Dyson, and a Makita. The Roombas are good for rooms with a lot of open floor space, the Dyson is good for cluttered rooms, and the Makita is good for small spaces and the nooks and crannies the others can’t reach. All of them have been reliable.
