Hi.
I am raising a family in Japan, and I have a daughter about to start Jr. high. I am thinking of having her spend a few months in the US living at my sister’s house this fall, and I’d like to enroll her for a semester in a regular US school.
Anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? We have friends from abroad who regularly come back and slot their kids into the Japanese school system for a period of weeks or months. I’m thinking it should be possible.
Barring that, I’d also be open to suggestions to programs in the US for tweens.
