Should I start jumping to native material?

have around 3000 vocab and 270 kanji under my belt.

  1. The answer is always a yes from me. The best way to learn is to use the language. There will be tons of stuff you don’t know, but starting at what you recognize and trying to piece things together is the key. As you mix native material with serious study, you will start to make progress pretty quickly.
