HomeJapaneseJapan is now arguably the oldest country in the world. One of the biggest indicators of this shift is that, with declining birthrates and over 25% of the population aged over 65, there are now more #AdultDiaper produced for adults than for babies.

This title was so misleading to me, glad I clicked.
I expected a rant on how Japan has been around the longest, not an explanation of the age of the citizens -.-
My stoned ass was trying out what adult diapers have to do with how long a country has been around
Wow that was refreshing to read. In the local news here when they talk about declining birth rates it’s so negative, alarmist and almost pointing the finger at older people for the burdens they place on society. I like that this article talks about how businesses are embracing and supporting the ageing demographic in a positive way.
To be fair a lot of those diapers will be bought by pissing and moaning contributors to this Reddit and r/japanfinance. . . .
I wonder if there’ll be a left-wing evolution after the bulk of octogenarians and older die out.

Why would babies need #AdultDiaper?
