Hi All,
Hoping someone can give us a sanity check to see if this itinerary makes sense.
Night 1 – Land in Osaka. Staying at Liber Hotel
Day 2 – Osaka Aquarium. Something easy to get us used to being in another country
Day 3+4 – Universal Studios. Nintendo World, Harry Potter Land, Universal Studios, etc…
Day 5 – Relax. Trip to Studio Ghibli
Day 6 – Himeji Castle
Day 7 – Travel to Hakone. Staying at Hotel Indigo
Day 8 – Yunessun Spa/Water Park
Day 9 – Pretty much nothing scheduled. Leave Hakone for Tokyo at somepoint + checkin in at City Hotel NUTS
Day 10 – 15 – Tokyo time. Tons of little things, possibly thinking about Disneyland but we’ll see.
We’re looking for night life / fun things to do in Tokyo, but overall the trip just has a single “main” attraction or thing we’re doing and then free the rest of the day .
Honestly, I might change the Hotel NUTS because it’s a pretty small room for the 4 of us. We liked the Shinjuku district for the nightlife (flying the babysitter w/ us) but curious of other people’s experiences. Child is 12

My daughter is 12. I don’t fly a babysitter with me, so I don’t do much in the way of nightlife. I’m more than OK with this because I am not into night life in general.
I am going to assume you mean the Park near Nagoya and not the Museum near Tokyo because that is an awful long day trip from Osaka. I am also going to assume you already have tickets, as otherwise you are not going.
My tween enjoyed Yunessun. It’s cheezy but is definitely fun.
I took my 12 year old to TeamLab Planets. I think I enjoyed it more than her though.
