Yesterday, I went to a sushi restaurant with my family. It is Kura-sushi. I especially like sea urchin. Conveyor belt sushi is very popular. But, recently lt has become common to order on a tablet computer. It is very convenient, so we tend to order a lot. 美味しくて楽しいお寿司屋さん大好き！ついつい頼みすぎてお会計にびっくり。

1. Looking at the menu, was it 100-300円 per bite? Seems like a very affordable meal for what you’ve shown.

2. AmaIngly enough. I ordered sushi on a tablet-like device in 1989, at a place in Tokyo. (It was wired, and I guess that had some type of preinternet local area network.)

3. だって小さくない？100円だから他の所より一皿はちっちゃいと思うよ。俺は、ブランド抜きの寿司屋だと7皿ぐらい食べられるのに、くら寿司等だと、10皿以上食べりやすい

   寿司は日本のいちばん好きな食べ物で、自分の国にいい寿司はちょーー高いから、去年に日本へ行った時は寿司は食べたかったわ。パートナーといっしょに食べたのは嬉しかったの、本当に。

6. There’s a kura-sushi in the city I work in. I’ll be dragging my friends into the city to get some next month!

9. My go-to is Kappa Sushi or Hamazushi! My partner and I can usually get full with about 2000円, but I’ve seen people stack dozens of plates! It’s crazy.

   I love uni, but I cannot eat the uni at these places. The only places that I’ve been able to eat uni are at fresh markets. Hokkaido is the one that stands out the most for me.

10. When I was living in Kyoto I loved going to Kura! Then COVID hit and I had to move back to America. But fortunately they’ve begun opening locations in Texas!

12. Hamazushi’s where it’s at for a decent balance of price and quality. Sushiro works in a pinch too. Kura sushi has always been too hit or miss for me, and the price point doesn’t justify it.

    Plus, Hama’s usually open later.
