Hey I’m Loki. I’m nearly finished with school and when I do I want to move to Japan for a year or so (I’m from Germany). I’m a trans-man and by the time I go there my top priority will definitely be starting testosterone. Now I won’t be of age for too long by then and therefore will need regular check-ups on my testosterone level and maybe an increase/decrease of dosage done by an endocrinologist. I do know it is hard do get HRT in Japan but when you’re a foreigner I don’t think they really care and just go with the gender identity your home country says you have. Does this also apply to HRT and endocrinological treatment? Does anyone have any experience with that?
