I don’t have home appliances and furnitures. What should I do for moving to an another place.

I live in 5th floor in an apartment without an elevator and I will move to an another place with an elevator.

I wonder is there a delivery service that comes to your house to pick up your packages.

Also I want to know which moving company is cheap for little amount of stuffs.

I’m not sure how much stuff I really have right now and which service should I use to move my stuffs.

I have some books, clothes, hair dryer, electronic kettle, kitchen stuffs and so on. It has been 9 months since I came to Japan so not that much stuffs and I don’t have any desks, chair, things like that. I’m using furnitures that belongs to the house. Moving things with a suitcase all by myself would be very hard. I don’t have a driver’s license and someone who can help me:(

I’m moving out in a hurry and I have less than 2 weeks left before moving out but still couldn’t decide anything.

Is there any good idea? Thanks

  1. If you can pack all of your stuff into a few boxes and a suitcase, you could possibly just use Yamato to do a point to point delivery. Probably next day, so keep a change of underpants handy.

Damn, if it’s not much stuff at all, you might even just be able to take a taxi.
