I was living in Japan from 2018-2020 and left before covid hit. I have recently returned for a short period to sort out my cars i own over here. I had my inkan registered and I still have my inkan shomeisho but the stamp itself is lost. It was a basic circle design with my 5 character first name written in Romaji, nothing flash. I know lost inkans need to be properly replaced and re-registered but I currently don’t have the time nor a residency card anymore to set anything up. Purely doing this to prove my ownership of the cars along with the shaken papers.
If I can make exact copy of the stamp it would surely be fine right?

No, registered inkan is one of a kind. You can’t make exact copy because they will never be 100% match. You will have to file for replacement.
Though I do not know how strict the shaken paper will be though. That’s for whomever you’re giving the paper to decide.
usually this kind of paper has to be recent and original not copy. you better go to your city hall and explain. they probably have a solution to your issue. can’t just abandon cars.
