4 days in Tokyo for RHCP: Itinerary suggestions?

I’ll (26F) be in Tokyo from February 18th through the 21st. I’m going for the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert on the 19th, but of course I want to fill up the rest of my weekend!

Questions:

* Around what time do most of the shops open up in Akihabara? I read somewhere about a Sunday Flea market – Does that still exist? Is it year-round? Times?
* Any tattoo-friendly hot springs you’d recommend?
* If you’re attending the concert, what’s your plan for that day?

Saturday, 2/18 – Asakusa

* Arrive @ NRT \~2:30PM
* Train to hotel in Asakusa (\~1hr15min)
* Check in \~4:30PM
* Walk to Akasaka Camera
* Ideas for dinner/drinks: Hoppy Street, Asakusa Beer Kobo, Ninja Bar
* Wander around the area

I’d like to go to a chill bar where younger crowds tend to hang out. I want to meet and chat with people. It doesn’t need to be in Asakusa – I’ve heard Shibuya and Shinjuku are good for that?

Sunday, 2/19 – Akihabara/RHCP

* Train to Akihabara (\~15min)
* I read that it’s best to just walk around and get lost in Akihabara, so that’s the plan – although I’m still open to suggestions!
* Flea market?
* Tokyo Camera
* Head back to hotel \~1:30PM, get ready
* Head out \~3:15PM (\~30min train to Tokyo Dome)
* Concert starts @ 5:30PM

I’m looking for somewhere (preferably within walking distance) of Tokyo Dome to eat and have a few drinks before the concert.

If you’re attending the concert as well, maybe we could meet up for a bit!

Monday, 2/20 – Free day

I would like some assistance here! Thrifting in Koenji? Explore Roppongi? Visit a hot spring? All of the above? Haha.

Or maybe visit Akihabara on this day instead, and figure out something else for the first half of 2/19?

Tuesday, 2/21

* Find someplace for breakfast
* Check out @ 11:00AM
* Head to NRT \~1:30/2:00PM
* Flight depart @ 3:55PM

    The Oedo Antiques Market is held at the Tokyo International Forum on the first and third Sundays of every month. The Tokyo International Forum is located between Tokyo and Yurakucho Stations.

    Many camera stores are located in the Shinjuku Station area.

    As for plans for the day, you can also hang around Asakusa and return to the hotel, or hang around Akihabara and then go to [Ochanomizu] (https://visit-chiyoda.com/tokyo-music-paradise-ochanomizu/) to see the musical instruments. Dining should be done around Akihabara, Ochanomizu, Iidabashi or other stations before Korakuen Station, as restaurants around the Tokyo Dome area will be crowded on the day. If there is something you want to eat, I recommend restaurants in the area.

    Roppongi is a nightlife district where people drink etc., so it is not lively during the day, so you may want to go after the concert.

    I also post recommendations for other towns, so if you like, you can check out my previous posts.
