I’m currently working on putting together a grammar notebook for myself to reference when playing video games or reading books in Japanese.
So far I’ve gone through Cure Dolly’s grammar series and taken notes, and I’m going through JLPT-Sensei to get an overview of all the JLPT grammar points and an idea of how they relate to each other. Once I’ve got that, I’m going to sift through Tofugu articles for more information as well.
I’m planning to include overviews of different ways to express a concept (e.g. Expressing Uncertainty with だろう、かもしれない、etc.) and then making notes on how those expressions differ in their nuances (e.g. degree of certainty, written/spoken Japanese, formal/informal Japanese etc.). Not really sure yet how to best organise the information (perhaps in categories, e.g. “Particles”, “こそあど words”, “auxiliary verbs” etc.?)
It’s gonna be quite the undertaking, but I don’t mind. Anyone has got some tips on other good Grammar Resources to pull from? Or any ideas how to organize/structure the information and what information to include? That would be really helpful 🙂

The dictionary of Japanese grammar (begginer, intermediate, and advanced) would be my rec.
I have a grammar notebook. A couple things that help me:
1. I color code by writing in different colored pens.
Example:
-title- purple
-grammar point/formula red
-orange secondary info
2. I also write or copy example sentences. With the entry.
