it’s not easy to find their chat, but once you get in, it’s great!

Go to the conbini and scan the QR code from the app. It’ll print off a shipping label and then you just take it to the counter. If you bought from a 3rd party seller and they don’t provide a QR, you might have to send it through kuroneko or something.
Returning on Amazon is super easy now.
1.Click return
2. Select reason
3. Choose return options Carrier Pick up (no need to print anything)
4. Schedule pick up date and time
5.Done.
When you finish applying for return, you should get a QR code emailed at you. Did you finish the request yet?
I wasn’t able to find a customer service live chat on the site to do a refund last year, but it was quite easy to find somebody to talk to through the mobile app.
Highly suggest doing this because they will help you process your refund without needing to answer all the questionnaires and stuff about why you’re returning/whether or not you’re eligible to refund. And then if you’re confused about how to actually return the item, just tell them, and they will help you schedule a JP Post visit to your door where the mailman will pick up your package and deliver it to their warehouse.
I believe the process is changed recently. No more schedule pickup date option. Click on JP post or Lawson link(I prefer JP as there are staff to help out), fill out what’s in the parcel, your name, address and contact details. You will get QR code at the end of it, you will also get email link from which you can get it later. Pack and take it to JP post, ask the staff to help. They will take care. You don’t need to pay if reason is legit or they will deduct from your refund I guess. ofc put the Amzn barcode inside first.
* Unopened and Unused: Full amount of the item (tax inclusive) will be refunded. * Opened: 50% of the amount of the item (tax inclusive) will be refunded. * Shipping & Handling and Giftwrap fees will not be refunded in any conditions
As mentioned above it’s super easy. I just print out the return barcode. It’s in the return instructions. Pop it all in a box and drop it off at the local post office. And send it COD. chakubarai in Japanese. They will get it the next day or two. Good to go.
If you follow the “Return Item” option on the order, it will show a QR code and an ID. You can write the ID on a slip of paper, put that in the parcel, tape everything up and send it to the address is Saitama using the chakubarai slip at the Post Office.
You can just schedule a pickup with japanpost on their website. Print of the return label and the barcode for inside package. Seal it up. They pick it up and charge Amazon.

Anyone know if the [below](https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GKM69DUUYKQWKWX7) is still Amazon Japan policy? Draconian compared to Amazon US. How do I know how much shipping they will deduct? At least returning is [easier now](https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=G6AXBX4QER93DL9Y) with an option to go to FamilyMart and take care of everything there.
