Lots of companies ban side/second jobs if they think it would have a negative impact on your ability to work.
It’s also really tricky since FT positions everywhere except tiny companies require you to be enrolled in shakai hoken. You can’t just tell HR at a second company to not enroll you. The two companies have to coordinate.
I suppose you could have second/third jobs with overseas companies, but you’d need to tell your Japanese employer that you need to do your own taxes.
