I recently added my pasmo card to my apple wallet. I tried to charge it but it keeps saying “payment not completed”. Surprisingly I was able to renew my commuter pass? I use a European visa credit card.
My questions are:
– Can I “cancel” my pasmo card on apple pay and just use the physical card again?
– When my pasmo is on my apple pay wallet, is there another way to charge it?

Mastercard & Amex reportedly work fine now.
You can charge using cash at some convenient store terminals https://www.pasmo.co.jp/mp/app/charge/cash/
When it said payment not completed, most likely your bank or credit card company was blocking the transition.
Lately with Pasmo/Suica and Rakuten card I have to keep the recharge < 5k yen, otherwise the payment will be temporarily blocked and I had to go to their website to approve it.
