I am currently trying to use the online system to apply for a renewal, but I can’t seem to register as a new user. I have tried googling this issue but can’t seem to find any helpful information. If anyone has successfully used the online system, could you tell me what I might be missing?
Current situation:
\-Windows 10
\-Google Chrome ver. 109
\-Website Pop-ups unblocked
\-Verified My Number compatible IC reader is functioning
\-Downloaded JPKI client software
The JPKI client has successfully read My Number card, but when I try to register as a new user on the immigration website, the same message pops up over and over. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

What exactly is the error message you’re getting? Might help troubleshoot it.
Did you install the chrome plugin too?
Right click and run the application as an Administrator. Another option is to try and log in using your phone if you have NFC.
Keep in mind that many people have been experiencing issues with receiving their confirmation emails.
