Anyone know where to buy large cut of high grade japanese beef?
My local department store super market (takashimaya / Isetan) sells beef with good marbling but they only ever sell them as slices. I know I can ask local butcher to get bigger cut, but they don’t always have high end beef.
I am located in Tokyo (kichijoji).

You are in Kichijoji? Head into Atre, go to the meat counter at the end near the fish area. They will cut you a slice to your choice. But be prepared to pay.
Alternatively satou in the shotengai. They will cut to size. Kichijoji has a fair amount of decent butchers.
Kichijoji’s famous butcher is Satou. They have a steakhouse with wagyu above the butcher shop so they must have big cuts
